Aaron Schildhaus

Is an attorney and arbitrator licensed in the District of Columbia and Illinois. He is a founding partner of Martorello Schildhaus LLC, a minority, woman-owned law firm with offices in Chicago, Washington, DC and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He has decades of experience representing businesses and NGO’s worldwide. He is a recipient of numerous professional awards and recognitions, including the American Bar Association (ABA) Mayre Rasmussen Award “in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of women in international law”.

Aaron is specialized in data protection, global privacy laws and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). He is a member of the ABA Cybersecurity Task Force. Aaron has extensive experience in the energy, transportation, aerospace, telecommunications and manufacturing industries.

His international corporate professional experience includes ten years in Paris, France and four years in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has worked with the World Bank, the Import-Export Bank and other international financial institutions representing clients globally.

Aaron was Chair of the ABA International Law Section in 2008-2009 and has been a member of its prestigious Council since 2000. He was senior advisor to the ABA’s International Anti-Corruption Committee and its India Committee, Liaison to the Council of the Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE), and to the Israel Bar Association.
