Alessandra Amaral is Chief Regulatory Affairs, Energy and Trading Officer of Light, one of the major companies of the energy sector in Brazil. She has senior executive experience with major companies, including Coca-Cola.

She is member of the Board of Directors of ONS, Norte Energia, and ABRADEE (Brazilian Association of Distributors of Electrical Energy), is President of Fiscal Council of APINE (Brazilian Association of Independent Producers of Energy), and member of the board of electrical energy of FIRJAN (Industry Federation of Rio de Janeiro) and of the International Advisory Council of Fundação Dom Cabral.

Alessandra holds a BA in Economics from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, with emphasis in Finance from PUC/RJ (Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro), a MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and a MBA from COPPEAD/UFRJ.
